Pigeon Forge Roars to Life with the 2025 Spring Rod Run

Pigeon Forge, TN — April 2025

Engines roared and chrome gleamed as thousands of car enthusiasts descended on Pigeon Forge for the highly anticipated 2025 Spring Rod Run, one of the premier automotive events in the Southeast. Held along the city’s bustling Parkway, this year’s show turned the mountain town into a sea of polished classics, muscle cars, hot rods, and custom-built beauties — all with stories as rich as their paint jobs.

The three-day event featured a spectacular car show at the LeConte Center, a bustling swap meet offering hard-to-find parts and memorabilia, and rows of vendor displays showcasing the latest in automotive accessories, detailing gear, and vintage finds.

“This is more than just a car show — it’s a tradition,” said event coordinator Mike Smith. “People come from all over the country not just to show off their cars, but to connect with fellow gearheads, trade stories, and celebrate automotive history.”

Visitors strolled the streets to admire vehicles from nearly every decade, from pristine '50s Chevys and vintage Ford trucks to flashy Mustangs and souped-up Camaros. Many car owners stood proudly by their rides, answering questions and sharing restoration stories with eager spectators.

Local businesses reaped the benefits of the event’s popularity. Hotels, restaurants, and shops reported increased foot traffic throughout the weekend, and tourism officials estimate that the Rod Run injected millions into the local economy.
