 By Jason Grant   If you want something you have to give something.  Welcome back to Grantinspo Blog post, last post we  were talking about pulling ourselves through now we are  admitting that it's not easy and that we have to give  something in order to have something.  Let's be real about this topic because it is something that  I have long over looked and did not analyze until I got to  this age and came to the realization that it is factual. If  you have never noticed it let me point it out for you.  think about your education, doesn't it require you to be  present at school on most day to get the best grades?  what do you get in return for studying? you get an  education that will help you to get a job in the future.  If you should look at whole process of life you will  see what I'm getting at. My likes, my interest, and my desires were all based on what others  told me about myself or what they would consider to be within the normative pattern of society for me to do.   It wasn't until much further on in my years of development (teenage years) exiting primary school to High  school is where it all began for me.  You are Creators  By Jason Grant The flowers of the garden are so graceful, they know their time and season.  A time to light up and blossom colorfully into a beautiful flower, emanating sweet fragrances, and then a season to whither with dried brown leaves and return to the earth. Some human beings are completely different from the flowers of the garden. We find it hard to transition into our next season especially if we're in a season of stagnation, prosperity may seem far fetched. This fear of transition is completely natural because you're leaving a place of familiarity to a new setting. It is said that our comfort zone might be hard to leave because of complacency. When you become complacent you are planted and you see growth or development as a hard task. On December 31, 2015, I decided that I wanted something different for 2016, I decided that who I was in that moment wasn't all that I could so I decided to start my journey to self-development in that year.   Starting with  a Vision      All the rumors are true, if you fail to have a vision then you will live another year without  fulfilling  your goals. I have watched the years pass by with many individuals giving up on their journey early   into the start of the new year. Another year slides by and you are still not the person who you aspire to be or t hat you had set out to start working on at the begining of the new year. Well, that was me a few years  ago; falling back into bad eating habits, slacking off on schoolwork, eating junk food, and not holding  myself accountable. The truth of the matter is that old habits die hard.
